hi, welcome to my butter series. It’s basically going to be a series of blog posts about the different butters on this lovely planet, their uses, where you can get them in Nigeria and how you can use them.

This is definitely an uncommon and underrated butter in Nigeria but it is very very popular in India!
Mango Butter is a nourishing and rich plant based butter which is gotten from the seed of mangoes. It is rich in a lot of nutrients (Vitamin A, C, Stearic acid etc) and antioxidants. Another amazing thing about mango butter is that it is non-comedogenic which means it won’t clog your pores or aggravate acne-prone skin.
It is off-white/creamish in colour and it has a very mild smell.
