This was actually my first time eating at Oriental Hotel so these were my first thoughts!

ORANGE JUICE: Seeing the menu and the price i thought it was freshly squeezed only to find out it was Chivita. Still don’t get why it was N1000 tho, nevertheless it was nice, maybe the extra cost was because of the glass and the fact that it was chilled. But N1000 isn’t that much so😂
Price: N1000
Rating: 8/10

SPAGHETTI BOLOGNAISE: well it was ‘spaghetti bolognaise, nothing too special’. The spaghetti was cooked well and the sauce was good, could have used a bit more seasoning but it was still fine. I remember asking the waiter how many people could finish the spaghetti, and he said it would enough for one person. However telling by the image we know that’s a lie. The meal was enough for two adults or four 6 year old kids, I was only able to eat half of it and I took the rest home.
Price: N4000

FRIED RICE WITH SHRIMP: The rice was actually really good! It was well done, all the vegetables were fresh and overall it was really tasty, seasoning wise. The only downfall was that it was quite dry, so we ended up having to order a sauce with it. So if you decide to order the shrimp fried rice be prepared to order a sauce unless you like dry rice. The rice was enough of 3 people so it is definitely value
for money.
Price: N4000

PRAWNS IN CHILI SAUCE: This was DEFINITELY the best item we ordered today! The prawns were FRESH and when I say fresh I don’t mean frozen pack, put in the freezer, defrost fresh. I mean hi, they just caught me from the Atlantic ocean and I’m on your plate FRESH. The vegetables were super duper fresh and the peppers was just right. It was quite spicy but not overly spicy that you need 1litre of water to eat it! It was on the pricier side but it was OVER VALUE FOR MONEY! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Price: N8000
Rating:100/10
(I forget to take a picture, so sorryyy!)
When we ordered our meal, we also ordered one bowl of Chicken Consomme Soup and spring rolls but we never got them. We asked him and he said he ordered it from the kitchen and that he would go and check on it. We ended up telling him not to bother about it because we were already eating the main meal.
📍: The Five Coweries Coffee Shop
🗺: Oriental Hotel, 3, Lekki Road, Victoria Island Lagos
🍽: Outside seating was good, it could occupy a good number of people✅
🚗: parking✅✅✅
🌇: the seating area over looked the lagoon and the lights reflected on the water so it was really aesthetically pleasing!
so these where my first time thoughts of this restaurant! I would have uploaded the menu too but i don‘t know if it’s legal, so if you want it message me on ig (@blossom.eo)
Thanks for reading and have an amazing day
